Not long after Lucky moves into Miradero, she meets this wild stallion named Spirit, a horse which is about to get caught by the wranglers, who will try to break him and domesticate him, which is a not an easy process and Spirit will not be happy, like he is living his life as a wild horse.
Fortunately, Lucky finds the horse just in time, saves him from the wranglers and they immediately befriend, and Spirit has to split between his love for wild life, and his attachment and care for this twelve-years-old girl, Lucky.
But the two characters are not alone in their adventures, because Lucky makes two best friends as well, two girls by the name of Pru, a smart girl who has learned to train horses from her parents, and this cute and naïve blonde girl by the name of Abigail Stone.
The two girls also have their own horses, Pru owns Chica Linda, while Abigail owns Boomerang, and the three girls, along with Spirit, Chica Linda and Boomerang have such a good time together, joining all sorts of cool adventures.
